Non-Nevada casino minimums (COVID edition) part 5

If you are reporting about a casino, could you please try to include the following:
The more information we have, the better off we will be.
We all know that tables can change rapidly. I saw a table go from 25 to 15 to 100 at the Flamingo in the course of a few hours. I'll try to keep the mins what is reported the most and add other information in the comments like "found this table at $5 on graveyard shift" so people konw that isn't the norm
These tables can be a pain to maintain, so please provide as much information as possible. An informed roller is a beter roller.

Report your table minimums here (COVID Edition) part 3

Part 3 in the COVID series.
To try and make this list more helpful, I have added Weekend Day and Weekend Night, as those can be vastly different than during the week.
I'm trying to monitor Twitter and the Vegas Message Board to get some additional information.
Keep sharing all that wonderful goodness.
I'd like to update the wiki to talk about what sidebets casinos have, so if you know that info, I can add it to the table comments.

I'm 29, still living at home, no degree, stuck at dead end job

I spent the last year living in Las Vegas,. working at a casino making good money.
In January my ex left me at my absolute lowest duri6a depresed episode and in February my landlord, her mom, decided to sell the house she was renting me.
March came and I lost my job to COVID, so I had no choice but to.move back home to San Diego with my parents.
So this is my current situation, I'm 29, living at home with my parents.
I just started a new job, a pizza place, on Monday.
It's only been one week at this job, but I'm already exhausted and burnt out. I wake up sore and achy every morning and already have a "I don't want to go to work" mindset.
The fuck is wrong with me? Why can't I just deal with it and work like everyone else?
It's like no matter what job I try I get really exhausted, physically and mentally really easily and I just dread having to deal with workplace politics and customers, etc. I'm diabetic and have neurofibromatosis, so standing on my feet and being active in front of a hot oven all day is draining on me.
I just want a quiet office/work from home job that's not taxing on me.
The problem is with no degree, not even an associate's I don't have the qualifications for anything other than these dead end fast food jobs. I've never known what aive want to do "when I grow up" I didn't know in high school, and even now I don't know what I want.
I want to go back to college, but I'm considered "out of state" student until next year because I JUST moved back to California.
I don't know what to do, any job I could realistically get is physically taxing on me and Im so tired/sick feeling on my days off it's as if they don't even happen.
How do I get out of this? I feel like I'm trapped,.I'm almost 30, living at home with no degree and no clue what I want to do.
How can I figure out what I want to do for a job/careemajor and how do I even get there when I'm stuck working so much just to survive.
I hope this all makes sense, I'm not great at articulating things and I'm feeling sick to my stomach thinking about work tonight.

Feel stuck in life, I'm 29 with no degree stuck making minimum wage

I spent the last year living in Las Vegas,. working at a casino making good money.
In January my ex left me at my absolute lowest duri6a depresed episode and in February my landlord, her mom, decided to sell the house she was renting me.
March came and I lost my job to COVID, so I had no choice but to.move back home to San Diego with my parents.
So this is my current situation, I'm 29, living at home with my parents.
I just started a new job, a pizza place, on Monday.

July 4th weekend Public Service Announcement [COVID-19 Guidelines & Information]

Hello folks of venturacounty!
Since Governor Newsom will not be making a press conference today (it's apparently an observed holiday), I have decided to instead compile a list of guidelines and helpful information to help keep you and your loved ones safe & happy celebrating this July 4th weekend.
Information has been compiled from the Governor himself via Twitter, FB, or covid19.ca.gov as well as various reliable news outlets. Feel free to openly start discussions on specific county laws and ordinances. I have tried to include some pertinent ones for Santa Barbara, Ventura, Orange County, & LA. I will be periodically updating this post as more information gets released.

From Newsom's 07/02 press conference:
Masks keep Californians healthy! Wear One! Renewed emphasis on the evidence pointing to decreased transmission rates with masks. Masks are one of the most impactful COVID-19 prevention measures. Countries that have implemented masks or have had universal mask policies in place have seen significantly less spread of COVID-19. Similar trends in other US states who have adopted masks early.
Californians should not gather with people you do not live with. Avoid crowds. We need to temper the curve again like we did months ago. This week is EXTREMELY important, the Governor stresses. He wishes us all a Happy 4th of July otherwise!
"We are just trying to encourage people to be safe, thoughtful of self and others. Just because someone else is doing it, doesn't mean you should..." He encourages people to do the right thing. Look at the hard numbers. The facts.

"Consider that when you are coming together with people this weekend, that one of those statistics could be YOU!"

Today's COVID-19 Statistics
California now has 248,235 confirmed cases of COVID-19, resulting in 6,263 deaths. The number of COVID-related deaths increased by 1.6 percent from Wednesday’s total of 6,163. The number of COVID-19 diagnostic test results in California reached a total of 4,448,176 an increase of 109,458 tests since Wednesday. The rate of positive tests over the last 14 days is 6.4 percent. California’s hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased by 151 from Wednesday.

Is it safe to shop at an open business?

The risk of COVID-19 infection is still real for all Californians and continues to be fatal. That is why every business permitted to open should take every step humanly possible to reduce the risk of infection by following these state guidelines.
Can I still leave the house even if I am not a essential critical infrastructure worker?

Yes. As described in more detail elsewhere in applicable state public health directives (including on this page), there are a wide range of circumstances in which you may leave your home or other place of residence, even if you are not an Essential Critical Infrastructure Worker. For example, you may leave your home to work at any business or other entity that is allowed to open, to engage in in-person worship and protest activities consistent with public health directives, to patronize local businesses, or to care for friends or family members who require assistance (as set forth under Health care). And errands like these are not the only reasons you may leave your home: you may also leave your home with or without a specific destination in mind (for example, to walk your dog, to engage in physical recreation, or simply to get some fresh air) as long as you maintain physical distancing and comply with any other applicable public health directives.
Are gatherings permitted?

State public health directives prohibit professional, social and community gatherings. Gatherings are defined as meetings or other events that bring together persons from multiple households at the same time for a shared or group experience in a single room, space, or place such as an auditorium, stadium, arena, large conference room, meeting hall, or other indoor or outdoor space. They pose an especially high danger of transmission and spread of COVID-19.
On May 25, 2020, in an effort to balance First Amendment interests with public health, the State Public Health Officer created an exception to the prohibition against mass gatherings for faith-based services and cultural ceremonies as well as protests. Those types of gatherings are now permitted indoors so long as they do not exceed 100 attendees or 25% of the capacity of the space in which the gathering is held, whichever is lower. State public health directives now do not prohibit in-person outdoor faith-based services or protests as long as face coverings are worn and physical distancing of 6 feet between persons or groups of persons from different households is maintained at all times. All other gatherings are prohibited until further notice, except as otherwise specifically permitted in state public health directives (including in applicable industry guidance).
Crowds and limited physical distancing increase the risk for COVID-19. If you attended a protest, remember that confidential, free testing is available. Find a testing location near you. If you test negative it does not mean that you may not develop COVID-19 later on. Therefore, it is advisable that you self-isolate for 14 days if possible.
Which beaches are closed?

[Updated 07/03 13:30 pm]: Beaches in the counties of Orange, LA, Ventura, & Santa Barbara have been closed. All associated local/state beach parking has also been closed. Santa Barbara residents may be fined $1,000 or experience jail time for gross disregard of health orders.
Can I set off fireworks this weekend?

Please refer to your local county website & guidelines. When setting off fireworks, please consider doing so in safe & considerate manner. CA is entering brush fire season; additionally, we house many veterans who are sensitive to large, explosive noises. county-specific note: VC may impose fines of up to $1,000 for illegal fireworks.
How can I report businesses that are violating COVID-19 industry guidelines?

Citizens are encouraged to file reports with their county website. Reports & complaints can also be filed at covid19.ca.gov/ or on specific, department websites (i.e.- OSHA). Many citizens have found that Twitter is an efficient platform is raising awareness to force government bodies and businesses to act. Please help in keeping your community safe! Report any unsafe businesses immediately! Report businesses in Ventura County. You can also call the Ventura County COVID Compliance hotline: 805-202-1805; or email them @ [email protected]

Report businesses in Ventura County

July 4th Weekend Public Service Announcement [COVID-19 Information & Guidelines]

Hello folks of SantaBarbara!

My roommates girlfriend is accusing me of stealing $5000

I live in a two bedroom apartment, in march of this year I broke up with my girlfriend and I needed to find a roommate. The first thing I did was put the feelers out with some of my neighbors. One of my neighbors had a friend that had just moved to San Diego and was staying on his couch while looking for permanent residence. I didn’t know my neighbor super well but he had a big fat bulldog named Porkroll so that was enough to earn my trust.
“Guy” moved in. He was a chef by trade and for the first few weeks I never saw him, his 14 to 15 hour shifts at the restaurant made his life sleep work sleep work repeat. He paid his rent and utilities quickly and was almost never home, and when he was he brought me food.
The perfect roommate. Then Covid happened.
He was laid off from the restaurant. I received a text asking me if his girlfriend from Chicago could move in with us, he said that she was cool and they would use the free time to find a place of their own. Both turned out to be false.
Over the months of the quarantine they would fight to no end, it seemed like almost every night. Screaming matches that would go into the early hours of the morning. A few of them got to the point where other neighbors had called the police for a domestic disturbance.
At this point it would be hard to describe how much I dislike “Girl” but one of my first interactions with her describes it best.
Guy made ramen, he spent all day making a broth, even made some pot stickers, and I thought it was great. She hated it, apparently it was so bad she couldn’t get through Jumanji 2 and had to leave to get other food. It appalled her so much he was no longer allowed to cook their meals. A chef.
Also one of their fights got to the point that he was speeding off in his car and she threw one of my glasses at him, shattering it. It was a pint glass that had a e-card meme on it that said “looks like it’s fuck this shit o’clock” with a guy throwing papers in the air. In the grand scheme of things it's not that important but it was a christmas gift from my sister in 2011 and I considered it a prized possession.
The way the apartment is setup I have a bedroom with a walk-in closet and a bathroom, which allowed me to interact with them as little as possible. For the most part that ment I only needed to interact with them when necessary. Necessary being when a homeless guy was standing around our stairwell and Girl took an unloaded paintball gun to scare him off with mock gunfire. So most nights they use my TV that is in the living room, watching youtube videos on my account. This doesn’t bother me but it does let me see their entire watch history.
The only thing they watch is about gambeling. I mean I can’t judge. I'll watch hours of people doing metal work, using lathes and welding when I have no way to do it myself. But the thing they watch the most is slots, people live streaming themselves at casinos playing high roller slot machines and winning large sums of money.
About a month ago it was night and they had been gone all day. There is a knock on the door at 4 am, it's Girl. She said they were at one of the Indian gaming casinos and she doesn’t know where Guy is. He showed up late the next day, and was an absolute wreck.
Two weeks ago they let me know they were going to Vegas now that things are starting to reopen. They were gone for a week, which I can only describe as pure bliss, and came back without issue.
Saturday 6/20 I carpool with my parents up to North County San Diego to spend the weekend at my brothers, my first time seeing my family and not sleeping in my room in four months, a true vacation. My sister-in-law is pregnant so for health and safety reasons she asked if I could get a hotel room. Yes ma’am, vacation.
Sunday 6/21 at 9am I get a text from Guy.
“Theres been a large sum of money stollen from myself and Girl as of last night
I'm contacting the police to file a police report.
Can you please give me the landlords number to go through the proper channels, locks need to be changed and all the proper details need to be followed to get to the bottom of what has happened.
Girl and myself will seek additional help to recover all losses
It’s unfortunate this is happening on father’s day.
But it needs to be addressed,
Immediately.
Guy”
I'm a musician and a nerd, so my first thought was about my gear in my bedroom and my computers. I asked if he could go into my room to see if anything was taken but he doesn’t respond.
My father had passed the Bar in New Orleans in the 80’s but now does commercial marine insurance. He let me take his car to go back down to see what was going on. Because Guy wasn’t responding, I called the Neighbor with the bull dog, he agreed to go in my room and confirmed that my music gear and tech were there as I described it.
I arrive, Girl is in their bedroom with the door closed, Guy is sitting at a table in our common area on the computer. looking back, this is when I realize that I might be a little naive. Because I’ve lived my life outside the long arm of the law (aside from traffic and parking tickets) It did not occur to me that they would be accusing me of stealing the money, but from his tone I could tell something was weird. In the common area they had two sets of golf clubs, he said she had her purse in her golf bag and it had $5000 cash inside and that it was stolen. I asked if they had taken the golf clubs out while it was in there and he said yes but it was always close to them so it was in eyesight the whole time.
My first thought was leave the situation and call your dad for advice.
As I have never been in a situation like this I honestly didn’t know what to do. What he told me was:
Directly ask him if I am being accused of stealing the money, and if he says yes say I didn’t do it. After that don’t say anything without legal counsel present. I did that.
Girl bursts out the door enraged and screaming. I said one thing “ I am not going to talk about this without legal counsel present” she said many, many things, here are the highlights.
“I know you did it you fucking crack head whitetrash peice of shit. I know people, we're getting your fingerprints and you are going down. Make it easy on yourself just give us back the money.
Just give us back the money and everything will be ok for you.
Just give us back the money
Just give us back the money
Just give us back the money”
It was like that but many more times and a lot louder and meaner.
I left the apartment and went across the street to call non-emergency, I told them I didn’t feel safe, described Guy and Girl, and they showed up 4 hours later.
The officers had already talked to Guy and Girl when they talked to me. They asked me If I took the money and I said no. They said it would be a lot easier if I just gave the money back. I said I didn’t take the money. They said you know they will be pressing charges. I said yes. I asked if I was free to go and they said yes. I put all my computers, and musical instruments in the car and drove back up to my brothers. While driving my sisters, who are enraged, look up Guy and Girl and find that Girl has from what we can tell at least 4 arrests in Chicago, the one we could see was for assault and battery.
Spent the rest of fathers day with my family, we had Whiteclaw, and tacos.
I am now back at the hotel, at around 11pm, Girl sends me a text. Apparently Guy gave her my number, she didn’t have it before.
“MY MONEY BETTER BE ON THIS TABLE BY MORNING. PERIOD!!!! YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!”
From my Dad's advice I probably shouldn't have said anything, but I did.
“I really don’t understand why you guys are doing this. I know you haven't known me that long but I can’t believe you actually think I stole money from you. And more importantly, and this should be obvious:
If this goes to court it will be a monumental waste of time and money for both of us.
First off, I didn’t steal the money, so if you launch some sort of investigation nothing will be found.
From a quick internet search Girl has a multiple arrest record from Chicago.
Two weeks ago you both spent a week in Vegas where you would have clearly had time to spend the money.
Because it’s my youtube account on the TV there is a clear history of you guys watching videos that revolve around slots and gambling.
Absolutely nothing about your accusations makes any sense.
But the most important thing is, and I genuinely suggest you take this in full consideration:
Through my family I have access to legal counsel, that if this does go to court, will turn it into a complete fucking bloodbath.
Please, I beg you, save both of us the wasted time and money and just walk away.”
She responded:
“ON THE TABLE IN THE MORNING”
“You’re a white trash crackhead thief. ON THE TABLE BY MORNING 9AM SHARP”
“MY FAMILY WILL BE HERE TO HANDLE THIS WITH ME”
“9AM IN FULL”
Yeah so now it's 2 am and i'm in a hotel room in northern San Diego.
All in all, not the worst fathers day I've had but close.
While my father did practice Law in the 80’s and so far all of his advice has seemed correct. I figured it might be beneficial to ask some questions.
Is a restraining order necessary? I’m sure I can look up how to get one but do I need to?
Can I kick them out? My landlord told me we can give them a 30 notice to leave but I’m not sure if the covid thing affects that.
And honestly I would never do this because I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body but what legal action could I take towards them if any?
Alright, the adrenaline is wearing off, thanks for listening.

Daughter speaks out after her father dies of Covid-19: 'It was preventable'

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 89%. (I'm a bot)
As her father lay dying in a hospital bed in Arizona, after testing positive for Covid-19, Lina Washington pleaded with him to keep fighting.
Gila River Hotels & Casinos, which operates Lone Butte, where Washington's father worked, announced on Thursday that it would temporarily close for two weeks "To protect the health and safety of our team members and guests", as the Gila River Indian Community moved to make protective face coverings mandatory on community lands.
Washington said her father called her the next day and expressed his concern.
Washington said she was initially hesitant about speaking out.
The last time Washington saw her father in person was in March.
Washington will lay her father to rest in Arizona on Sunday, Father's Day.

I reached out to the mods asking about putting together a post to collect minimums for craps tables in Vegas and other places.

I'll try to keep the body of the post updated. If information is correct, let me know.

    1. My daily cuarantine drawing! Today I bring you a crazy concept: do you remember "Loop the loop" at Coney Island in 1910? Well, what if instead of a loop it had been built a cobra-roll with a launched by slingshot system powered by steam and a water-pool brakes? Would you like to give a try? (545 points, 45 comments)
    2. I was cleaning my desk when I found this illustration I drew a few years ago of a Vekoma's Junior Coaster, inspired in some marine-coast theming. What do you think? (537 points, 40 comments)
    3. Since I am quarantined in my home (Barcelona), I have thought about making a daily coaster-related drawing and this is what I have done today (yay! I love homemade coasters!). I hope you like it! (451 points, 14 comments)
    4. Another old coaster drawing in my desk drawers. This time it's a Mack Rides wild mouse with an elevator lift system (inside the tower) and a pre-drop curve through a tunnel inside the mountain. Originally I thought of this design for Tibidabo park in Barcelona. I hope you like it! (388 points, 37 comments)
    5. New drawing! This time it's a Gerstlauer bobsled-coaster set in an alpine/forest theming. I made this design more than 10 years ago in NL1 and now I've decided to draw it. What do you think? (384 points, 20 comments)
    6. My daily quarantine drawing! Today I tried to draw the u/vekomatjex coaster model changing some proportions but trying to preserve the essence of the project with the utmost respect for the original. I hope you like it! (209 points, 9 comments)
    7. My daily cuarantine drawing! We are all familiar with the debate over whether or not Zamperla's Disk'o Coasters are real coasters. Well, my concept is to take this model further and turn it, once and for all, into a real coaster. Forget the physics for a few seconds, what do you think about? (199 points, 23 comments)
    8. My daily quarantine drawing today is dedicated to Alicia Stella, one of my favorite Twitter accounts, an essential reference on Orlando parks information and a great communicator. I hope you like it! (134 points, 13 comments)
    9. Daily drawing! I present to you a strange park located in high palaces and full of coasters, rides, towers and labyrinths. u/McyDworker won yesterday's challenge, so the name of the park goes in his honor. I hope you like it! (132 points, 12 comments)
    10. Looks like Groot and Pinocchio are'nt going to "enjoy" this flume-ride today... My daily drawing in moments of quarantine from Barcelona. Hope you like it! (81 points, 2 comments)

    8. Quarantine Coaster Day Four: Taking into account all your help I’ve come up with a new system for smoothing the track, as well as lining it to reduce friction! Excuse the janky supports, they’ll be fixed soon too. (89 points, 26 comments)
    9. Quarantine Coaster Day 9: Following some extremely dodgy arrow-esque transitions the final helix is half way complete. And don’t worry about the distance left, there are going to be brakes and a transport section. (88 points, 13 comments)
    10. Quarantine Coaster build day two: the lift hill. Getting my coaster fix whilst stuck inside! (69 points, 10 comments)

    6. Functional Spinning Coaster; Day 4: Full circuit and rough patches. The track is almost complete, but I'm running into a few issues of binding in a few areas of the track, but sanding helps. Also, yes, those are tiny drive tires and yes they work. 😊 (61 points, 9 comments)
