Lockdown 3.0 Things to do, plus help and support.

Disclaimer I want to thank everyone for the gilds, replies and suggestions. I just do not have time to reply to everyone, but I am reading everything. I am not sure how much bigger the thread can be, I already typed this but it vanished so I think I'm at the limit. I will try to keep updating, but I don't expect the thread to be up top for much longer and will likely vanish soon, so if you need anything save it.
Yes, it's hard, it sucks, it's depressing. It is something we all have to do if you want to see this virus go. Everyone knows the deal, too many think they're the exception but no one is. However, staying home is hard so maybe I can help at least one or two people with some incentives. I'll try to give links to some things that can help cure the boredom, and some support if you need it.
Most of this might be obvious to some, some might not even have internet and of course, money is a big issue, so I'll try to give some suggestions:
For streaming and on demand things such as Netflix et al, don't forget you can subscribe for free for your first month. This goes for most things in the list. If you are worried about putting in your payment details and forgetting to cancel a month later, don't worry! You can sign up and immediately cancel and you still get your free month!
For people who don't have a smart TV, you can buy a cheap Amazon Fire TV stick or a Roku box. The Fire stick can go as low as £20 often for 1080p. It will drop to £30 for 4k.
I picked up a 4k Roku device for £18 on Amazon once. It's fast and snappy. currently it's going for £33 for the 4k version. Having both, there is little difference between the devices. NowTV also do their own roku powered device.
Subscription based streaming sites that all offer 2-4 weeks free for first timers
  • Netflix *According to comments the second month is free.
  • Amazon Prime You can either get Amazon video on its own, or take prime with other benefits. I strongly urge those who use Amazon for buying off their store front to use [https://smile.amazon.co.uk/] as there is literally no difference except everything you buy amazon donates to a charity of your choice.
  • Now TV (I believe it's 7 days)
  • Disney+
  • Britbox
  • Amazon channels. I believe you can get all these individually but Amazon offers them as channels bound to your prime account, and they are again either free for a couple weeks (again, take them, cancel instantly) or very cheap. I recently subscribed to Starzplay for £1 for 3 months. It has some good shows on it like Fringe, doom patrol. It also has channels like Curiosity stream and shudder
If you have not subscribed to the any of the above, you can get a few months of free TV by signing up and cancelling instantly. I suggest waiting at least 5 minutes just to let it go through the system.
Some tips for Now TV. IF you already have a subscription, I've noticed you can get it cheaper by cancelling. When you cancel they will beg you to stay. Select "I can not afford it this month" and they should beg again, telling you what shows they have. If you say you still want to cancel, they'll beg one last time and offer you the subscription for cheaper. This won't work every month, but I've noticed they'll always offer it the first time, then again after a couple months. If you're subscribed to both films and entertainment do the most expensive one as it may not work both times (but it might!). You can also pick up passes from storefronts a lot cheaper sometimes, before I could pick one up on Amazon for £3 but, they seem to have cracked down on it. If you shop around (or if anyone knows of a legitimate store please let me know) you might be able to pick it up cheaper. Lastly, check their website and under your account they should have an "offers for you" section.
Completely free TV
If you do have a smart TV and/or device, there are some good free streaming apps. One I really love is called PlutoTV. I know this is on both Roku and the fire stick, as well as Ps4/Ps5 and xbox.
Pluto offers a bunch of live channels and now an on demand section, all for free. It has adverts but they are actually short (shorter than regular TV and fewer of them). Some of the channels are just streaming certain shows like Mythbusters 24/7 or Dog the bounty hunter, but it has a lot of old movie channels as well as 24/7 kickboxing and MMA. It also has a 24/7 poker channel I quite like.
Another one I like is Rakuten Viki however, I haven't watched it for a while as my fire stick is only 1080p and I have too many other devices attached. I believe it is on Roku but you have to jump through some hoops and have an account. The last I checked on the fire stick you did not. Viki offers a metric ton of Asian shows, mainly from Japan and South Korea but it does have chinese, Malaysian etc. It has subtitles. Some Japanese shows are hysterical, albeit weird.
Roku also do their own channels with free shows if you own a device.
For those who don't have a smart TV or a Streaming device, you can set up your own computer as a dedicated streaming device with Plex. It's been a while since I used it but I believe it now also offers free movies and TV.
Anime
If you are into Anime there is
The first 2 are free to watch, or offer premium without ads which you can have a trial with. Crunchyroll is the better of the two with more original choice for Japanese voice and subs, while Funimation has more Dubs. I don't believe HiDive is free to watch but you do get a 2 week trial. These are more exclusives than the previous two.
PC Centric software
If you are a gamer or like Audiobooks or anything that uses computers for things like music making, programming or graphic design
Humble Bundle offers, as per the name, bundles. A long running site that got bought out by IGN. It offers both single items and bundles you can buy individually/as a pack while also offering a separate monthly subscription for around £8-9. The subscription gives you 12 games on average per month. That's the simplest explanation but it changes somewhat as sometimes you get to pick 10 out of 14 games, or get all 12.
Humble bundle offers more than just games though. Every Tuesday they bring a new bundle of games, while Thursday (I "think) a new bundle of books. They very often have books from the Black Library giving you a ton of Warhammer books. Sometimes it's standard E-books, other times it's audiobooks. A few times a year they do bundles for graphic design, a typical bundle would include programs like Paintshop Pro Corel Painter etc, They usually go for £0.76 for tier 1 up to around £18 for tier 3, which would include 4-6 full titles with 10+ addons. They also often have Music making bundles or video editing software as well as Programming or video game development.
The bundles change often, they usually have around 11 bundles at a time that last for 20 days. Sometimes it's trash but they do often have some very good deals.
Fanatical offers the same as humble bundle except usually not as high quality, but sometimes they do have some incredible deals, and they are very very cheap.
Both humble and fanatical are safe, trusted and been around a long time, and they are NOT grey market key sites. They work with the publishers and developers. You can buy games both old and new for a lot cheaper than you would most other places. Unless it states otherwise, keys are usually for steam.
**BOTH HB and Fanatical (HB much more common) offer free games fairly often. The catch is linking your steam account to them (at least HB). It is safe however.
IndieGala is another site like above. Except, these are much much lower quality. However, they offer a metric ton of free games. Quality is low but it is legitimate, and a lot of free stuff.
Game Store Fronts
  • Steam This one is so obvious I didn't add it, but apparently many want me to. It is the best out there, and you can find almost everything, with fantastic deals.
  • Greenmangaming offers games cheaply. Again, not a grey market site (which are legal but unethical) and they sometimes do bundles.
  • GoG (Good old games) is a DRM free site run by CDPR, the makers of the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. They offer you games quite cheap and not needing DRM (such as Steam, Uplay etc which is less invasive versions of dodgy DRM from the olden days).
  • Epic Games Despite the controversy whether you care about their rivalry with valve, they offer free games ever week. Without ever having bought anything I have gained over 170 games. literally. Good games for the most part. They often give you £10 coupons as well.
  • Twitch Everyone knows twitch, but if you don't, it's a streaming service for watching gamers and girls with low cut tops accidentally bending over in front of the game. However, if you're signed up to prime, you get free games each month (and randomly between the set bunch).
  • Playstation Store Currently has January sales. Currently the free games for PS+ are for PS4: Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall. For the Ps5 it is Maneater
  • Games with Gold Bleed 2 and the King of Fighters XIII is available until Janurary 15th whilst little Nightmares is available until January 31st.
Gaming Subscriptions
Like the TV versions, you can sign up to these for a free trial (or very cheap). If you do sign up to only one at a time, it should keep you busy for a few months
  • Xbox Game Pass You can do this on both/either an Xbox or PC. If you sign up to the regular one, you can get a month (maybe three!) for £1. After you have done that, you can sign up to the premium version for 3 months at £1 a month. Most people know game pass, but you can download a large selection of games for free. The premium version gives you games with gold, allowing you to keep the games forever (but can only play with a subscription)
  • Ubisoft+ I'm not 100% sure if you get a trial or not. This allows a large collection of Ubisoft titles to play for £12.99 a month. Quite expensive but good if you like Ubisoft titles I guess.
  • EA Play EA's version. Goes by a ton of names I think, EA Access, EA Play, Origin Access etc etc. There's a couple of versions of this, and it is across all platforms (PS4/5, Xbox, PC) but not sure about the switch. I "think" the premium allows you to play on all platforms, while the cheaper one on a single platform, but I may be mistaken.
  • PS Now a once terrible service that is now actually very good. Allows you to download some Ps4 games to your PS4/5 and lets you stream a massive amount of Ps2/3/4 to your PC or playstation.
There's more like nvidia's service but you need the Shield device which is quite expensive. I'll leave it at that.
Audiobooks & Ebooks
  • Audible Not sure what the current deal is but if you are a prime member you can sign up for a trial and get a free Audiobook each month for 3 months. Some warhammer books are 48 hours long, 3 of those gives you a good 100+ hours of listening!
  • Comixology Another Amazon company, but lets you download some free comics I believe.
  • Marvel Unlimited No experience with this. ItFuckingWont wanted me to add it. A subscription service for Marvel.
Education
  • Sign Language BSL here No experience myself, suggested by n21brown and asked for a few times. Didn't know SL was so popular! Listed as "Pay what you can"
  • BBC's Bitesize here is apparently good for home learning. Again, no personal experience.
If you need some spare change
Okay, I don't generally bother with it, but maybe some of this could be useful to you. These are NOT a quick way to make a fortune. These are small things you can do over time for a bit of pocket change
  • If you have prime you can get a FREE FIVE POUND GIFT CARD by literally just streaming a song from Amazon music (which is included in prime) here is the details According to the comments it's only for select people, but it's worth trying If the link doesn't work for you just google "Amazon £5 coupon music"
  • Now, these sorts of sites have been around for years, I haven't used any other than talkInsights which I must have signed up to 10-15 years ago. Basically they send you surveys and you answer them. They are confidential and don't ask for personal details in the survey. You need 2000 points and you get £20. During the pandemic they've slowed down but I probably get around £40 a year. Not much I know, but it's an email followed by a quick survey ticking boxes. Depending on your answer sometimes you get screened out, I'm not telling you to lie but just be consistent with your answers and you should be able to work out how to not get screened. Some emails are only worth 20 points, others 200. It's slow to get to the 2000 but very quick to just answer a few questions.
  • Apparently beermoneyuk is a good sub to make some pocket change with.
  • There is also matched betting. I have never done this, I don't have the patience but from what I've read, it's legitimate, it works and you can make a fair amount of cash from it so long as you do it correctly, and there's a ton of guides. I mention this because people stuck at home could get into it and as long as you're careful (I.E not entering in the wrong numbers) it's risk free AND it pisses off the betting shops. It seems people in comments have had success with it. Disclaimer A couple have complained about gambling. This arguably is not gambling. If you are susceptible to addiction do not do it. However, it's argued that there is no fun or buzz in this, and it's a very tedious and time consuming thing. Others argue you can't make the same money anymore (People were making thousands, now only hundreds if that). It's risk free providing you know what you're doing, the risks are user error, such as entering the wrong numbers. Someone pointed out that due to the lockdown, bets could potentially be cancelled due to sport stopping. So use on a side of caution. We're (mainly) adults so I'll leave it up just because this doesn't have the excitement of regular gambling.
  • Microsoft Rewards This is an easy way to make pocket change doing very little. Most people have a MS account. The rewards program offers you numerous ways to grab points, by playing free to play games, answering small questions (you don't even need to answer most of the time, just open the link and shut it) and by using bing and searching on it. I've gotten 20k points JUST by answering questions over a couple months. There are many rewards but you can grab a £5 gift card for 6k for example, or a month of game pass (and AFAIK you can make points playing the games)
  • Google rewards Someone mentioned this in the comments. I have not used it, so can not give any input on it. Sounds similar to TalkInsights which I linked. Google states "Complete short surveys while standing in line, or waiting for a subway. Get rewarded with Google Play or PayPal credit for each one you complete. Topics include everything from opinion polls, to hotel reviews, to merchant satisfaction surveys. We’ll notify you when a survey is waiting."
That's it for now. I will try to update as I go along. A long post but I hope that it can help some of you with finding something good to do that's free, cheap or a bargain. I do suggest getting prime, especially since you get free music, free delivery, free TV and music and free video games each month. In fact, there's a ton of perks and I feel I've gotten way over the cost investment.
Hope it helps someone at least
PartTimeCrazy said if you bought an Apple product you get 3 free months of Apple Arcade and Apple TV free for a year
fakehunted is upset I didn't mention wanking. Tesco have 225 sheets of Tissue for £0.75!
tale_lost suggested Project Gutenberg for a collection of free E-Books
Learning Language
Unfortunately, I don't have time to check every link listed so I will link the comments:
Togtogtog Gives a lot of links for Spanish

HEALTH
I'm not a doctor! But if you're a smoker, something I strongly suggest is to quit. I struggled for years but in the first lockdown I quit, technically. I haven't had a cigarette since, however, I do that silly thing millennials do. I vape, but, it made quitting extremely easy. I would not have been able to do it if it wasn't for 88Vape They sell extremely cheap liquids at £1 each. You can find these in B&M but you can pick up 25 for £20 or buy your own mix.
Vitamin D deficiency has been said to be a big problem for the virus. I'd suggest (again, not a doctor!) that you pick some up. Tesco do a 3 for 2 deal. So you can pick up 270 tablets for £7.
If you are vulnerable you MIGHT be able to phone tesco and get put on their delivery saver list (currently it's paused but phoning may help. At the very least they might give you a priority slot. I did this for my mum, we didn't shop at Tesco but I phoned for her, and they put her on with no hassle, so she can always get a delivery.
HELP & ADVICE
The lockdown Rules.
Reasons to leave home include:
  • Work or volunteering where it is "unreasonable" to work from home. This includes work in someone else's home, such as that carried out by social workers, nannies, cleaners and tradespeople
  • Education, training, childcare and medical appointments and emergencies
  • Exercise outdoors (limited to once a day). This includes meeting one other person from another household in an open public space to exercise
  • Shopping for essentials such as food and medicine
  • Communal religious worship
  • Meeting your support or childcare bubble. Children can also move between separated parents Activities related to moving house
I want to add, if you are in danger you are also allowed (and must!) to get away from the situation for some reason, BBC seems to have missed this very important thing (or I am blind)
Support
FOR THOSE SHIELDING YOU CAN CONTACT THE ROYAL VOLUNTARY SERVICE. These people helped my mother with picking up her medicine from the chemist. They were very helpful and went out their way to keep in touch and do it immediately. (It's the only experience I have with them though)
_riotingpacifist wanted these links added, but I simply just don't have the time to vet and check all the suggestions here, so I will link as is:
Update:
Digital Art
These are Free
  • Krita Arguably the best in my opinion. It has a load of options, brushes and a decent UI. It works fantastic with a tablet.
  • Gimp This is a decent program but last I used, the UI was a pain, and it isn't so user friendly while misses features, but it works, and it is possible to do some incredible creations on it.
  • Medibang Paint This is slightly geared towards Comics and Manga. I really enjoy using this with my drawing Tablet. As far as I know, it also for regular tablets for Android/Ipad and is free.
You can pick up a drawing tablet on Amazon quite cheap these days! Small ones that are just a black slate such as the wacom ones are good but takes some practice to get use to, but very worth it if you can't afford a dedicated drawing tablet with a screen.
Office suit software
A couple of free applications for word processing, spreadsheets etc.
  • LibreOffice This has most the average user would need to write their own books or to work from home. There's not a huge amount of difference between the two I'm linking (since I last used anyway) so it's more for preference.
  • Open Office You can pick this up here and again, like above it's just preference.
Music Making
I'm going to direct to matthewharris806 for some links as all the programs I've used like Reason are expensive, or cheaper stuff in bundles such as Magix software.
Games development
D_Dad_Default gives some links for that here

Lockdown, things to do, help & advice.

Disclaimer I am posting this here because I got a message from the mods asking me to. I'm not from London so links aren't London centric (but hopefully still of help) and the main post is here so any updates will likely be there (I will try here but it's hard to keep up with the amount of suggestions)
Thanks.

_riotingpacifist wanted this links added, but I simply just don't have the time to vet and check all the suggestions here, so I will link as is:
Update:

Why Palantir is going to the moon🚀: A guide for paperhanded dummies

Alright retards. Gather round, im bringing you this chad bull play from a throwaway account so nobody knows im a degenerate on my “grown up” account. PLTR is going to the moon 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 you can click off now if thats all you needed to know, but if you’re curious why this technology is the future, keep reading.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS MORE “ARTIFICAL” THAN “INTELLIGENT”
As has been dutifully noted by many fellow autists, Palantir is an artificial intelligence/algorithim data mangement software company. However, you don’t quite have to worry about your wife going off and getting a robot boyfriend anytime soon. While this may come to a surprise to Jeffery Epstein’s pal Steve Hawkingwho believed robots will soon take over the world smart people in the field have been dealing with solving the problems of making artificial intelligence work for decades. This is good news for all those that have diamond hands 💎👐 on their Palantir shares in the coming years, because one of the founders solved one of the major problems over a decade ago and I’ll tell you how.
The problem with Artificial Intelligence and the Palantir Solution
If you aren’t yet familiar with Stephen Cohen) you should be. This is the ultimate autist chad that coded the first prototype of Palantir in 8 weeks. At his time at Stanford, he studied machine learning and artifical intelligence (this was way back in 2005, these beasts of nature are always 20~ years ahead of the normie media and their trends). However, as Cohen himself mentions in his talk at Stanford “The Path to Palantir” he became dissapointed studying AI due to the many limitations of the field he quickly realized. Firstly, the AI is only ever as smart as the algorithms that the humans were able to develop, thus more “artificial” than “intelligent.” Secondly, while computers are able to store and calculate numbers even faster than an autist doing his math homework before his mom will let him have his tendies, and their superior skill at storing this information, computers cannot grasp numerous concepts that human’s are skilled at. Most fundamentally, this is creativity and anything that is subjective. The example Cohen uses in his speech is hunger. Try explaining the feeling of hunger to someone and while you may be able to quantify it as a number between 1-10, this quantification leaves a lot out that someone that has never experienced hunger would not begin to understand. To put it simply, there are numerous factors in life that are impossible for a computer to quantify. Computers are good at factors they can quantify (numbers) but are as retarded as your average WSB bottom feeder when it comes to the qualitative (subjective). This is where Palantir comes in. Effectively, Palantir solves the quantitative issues for the human and lays it out for humans to interact with and add in qualitative analysis. Palantir is a marriage between a computer’s impeccable ability to process and store numbers and data and humans impeccable ability to use creativity and view context as well as the subjective.
Software & Business: The Dinosaur Superstructure
Heres where our other founder bellwether Peter Thiel comes in. If you haven’t heard of him yet, your girlfriend probably doesn’t you stay out past 8 PM, even when she’s not home. Member of the paypal mafia, when hes not busy making billions with his buddies musk and bezos, he’s taking down Gawker with Hulk Hogan for outing his private sex life. Like how Cohenknows how computer’s work, Thiel knows how businesses work. How many people here have been in an actual office building? Probably not the right crowd, I know, most of you still live in your parent’s basement, but that won’t matter when PLTR moons. Anyway, one of the first things youll notice is that the majority of technology used by businesses and governments are older than the average /teenagers poster. According to research conducted by Kaspersky, “four in ten of very small businesses (VSB), and roughly half of small and medium-sized businesses (SMB), still rely on operating systems such as Windows XP or Windows 7 which are nearing their end of life.” For some reason, I cannot find similar statistics for even larger companies that would be more likely for Palantir to be working with, but i’d wager from experience and knowing the scaleability issues that come with updating to technology, especially when dealing with a bunch of boomers, that it would be even higher for large companies. However, this is great news, because our good friend Thiel has the perfect formula to grab the biggest 6000 businesses by the balls.
Essentially, Palantir fronts the costs of installing and getting the software embedded into an operation in it’s “acquisition contract” stage. Im not a finance frog, but from what I understand they don’t actually make money from these contracts. Hence why they haven’t been profitable. However, the model is like a snowball. After the acquisition contract has expired, the boomers running the operation Palantir is contracting to have finally figured out how to use the software without training wheels and it is entrenched in their companies business. A larger contract with higher margins is signed. Further, companies of that companies competition look at what Palantir has done for that company, such as when in Q3 Palantir found 315m in unnecessary spending for an oil and gas company, slotting to save the company 1b in the coming 12 months and they are forced to sign an acquisition contract, further pushing the snowball along and acting as a case study of success for Palantir.
Remember to diamond hands and buy that dip. The markets are an unmedicated bipolar teenaged girl on her period and currently Palantir is in a downswing, but that is only a buying opportunity for the wise of us. Short term, I could see Palantir dipping as low as $20. This negative feedback loop will be broken either by a new contract, Karp interview day, another media announcement, or demo day. Eventually. I’ll lose a lot of you here, if I already havent, but hold strong and don’t stress the short term as long as you agree with my thesis and have done/seen enough due diligence of your own to understand the fundamentals of this company are as solid as Karp’s skiing legs. Longer term, I can see this company being at 100b+ market cap being conservative.
Best of luck and fuck 🌈🐻 andrew “never right” left of Citron research, morgan stanley, and credit suisse.
PLTR TO THE MOON 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

[REVIEW] Louis Vuitton Victorine Wallet in Monogram Canvas - TS Linda - Haiyan Factory

Seller: TS Linda
Price: Total of $92.40 USD via PayPal F&F.
I asked if she wanted the transfer in dollars or CNY, and she said neither is fine, which was great because of the currency exchange. I payed about 45 NOK for the PP fee.
Wallet was 340 CNY + 150 CNY (shipping) = 600 CNY
Shipping: via DHL Express Factory: Haiyan factory Product code: M62472 Disclosure: I did not receive discounts as I did not mention anything about RL. I’m not sponsored or affiliated with Linda nor any other seller.
After reading some FAQ and information, lurking through this subreddit as a new member to everything rep related. I have only bought some stuff for my boyfriend last year and some budget jordans, but nothing big for myself. I have kind of been lurking and countlessly reading tons of reviews. I wanted to buy something small from TS Linda before going big, if you know what I mean. I haven’t really chosen a bag or clothes to buy and was kind of unsure what wallet to buy from her too. I was stuck between the YSL monogram wallet and the Louis Vuitton wallet because they were almost the same price. I believe the YSL monogram was 330 CNY but I decided to get the Victorine Wallet because of I just love the monogram on it.
Order Timeline:
My Photos Box PSP Authentic Factory photos: I don't have the link to the factory photos anymore because of wechat cloud saving???? but if you send her a picture of the product code she sends you the photos.
Side notes: I was unsatisfied with the first photos she sent because the button was aligned. On the LV site it seems like the authentic button is slightly slanted. It was also from a different factory, I asked Linda what factory it was from and it was from Ann factory, I have never heard of that factory before so I asked her if I could get some other factory photos which she sent the same day. She sent 2 days later after I received the first factory photos from Ann f.
Quality: 9.9/10
To be honest, I have felt my boyfriends LV bags but after watching tons of videos and reviews here, I've heard that the monogram on the wallet is a bit more grainy, but the monogram was SPOT on and it is not misaligned like the others I have seen on here. From what I have seen about the color on the inside of the wallet, I have seen difference from videos to videos. And of course it looks darker in darker light and lighter in lighter spots. (lol).
There was an unpleasant smell right out of the bag it smelled like factory mixed with some synthetic materials. But honestly to me it isn't the biggest worst issue ever and the smell will probably disappear after some time. The glazing is amazing on the wallet, I was quite surprised there was no issues with the glazing. -0.1 :)
Accuracy: 8.5/10

The card slots are pretty tight and it's the best to have cards in the first or last slot because it is a pain first to take in and out the cards because you have to wear out the material. The zipper is very smooth, I was expecting it to be slow and weird like most replica zippers are, but it was so smooth.
I'm not sure about the button and zipper length and height though so if anyone can point anything out, leave a comment! <3
**Satisfaction: 10/10!**I'm super satisfied with the wallet, everything about it is honestly to me, perfection. I know my friends wont be able to notice the difference unless they have it themselves and that feels great as someone who cant afford luxury. I was waiting for the DHL courier to get to my house around 6pm and was sitting in my living room looking out the window like a kid on x-mas eve, lol. Even though the wallet has some small issues, I do believe it is a beautiful wallet I will use for years and years, last time I changed mine was in 7th grade when I got my first wallet so it feels great to have a new one!
Seller communication: 10/10!
Linda was always quick to answer and she told me I could ask her any questions if I wanted to which was a big relief because I had a lot of them as a new buyer and customer. I also did not know how to buy anything without an agent. She was patient as well, there was some misunderstandings with my address as she wrote my county wrong and there was some letters on the waybill which wasn't supposed to be there. I tried to correct her but she wrote it wrong on the waybill anyway but it was too late, I was however allowed to change that on the DHL express website. Everything else was correctly written. I had to ask her to ship the wallet 2-3 times before she actually did it (she told me she would message me the next day to ship it out but didn’t do so) I was told it would ship Sunday the 24th but did not get the waybill and shipment until 28th of January. But it might have been some miscommunication between the two of us. I did not rush her but just asked her for any updates. The waybill got sent from China to Bahrain and then to my country so it took 4 days for it to arrive from China to Bahrain.

Traveler FAQs answered

With lots of first-time travelers posting to this sub with questions, I thought I’d put together information about what you should know before you get started. This is based on my personal experience, so your experience may vary and this isn’t a definitive way things are in the travel world. I’ve been a traveler for six years, worked with many companies/recruiters, lived in (almost) every time zone, and have learned a lot through experience. I hope this helps someone.
The basics:
As a traveler, you’re expected to have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience, depending on your specialty, the company you chose to travel with requirements, and the hospital’s requirements. . This is the most common question new potential travelers have.
If you are a current student or a new grad nurse and you’re considering traveling in the future, you need to pick a specialty now. School likes to tell you that you need 1-2 years of med/surg experience to be an effective nurse. This isn’t true. Sorry, it just isn’t. If you know you want to work in the ER, ICU, CCU, OR, do it! Network with staff and managers in the departments you’re interested in while you’re in clinicals and see if they offer new grads employment opportunities. Once you’re in a specialty, you can’t typically change that as a traveler. Example: you work med/surg as a perm staffer, but want to work in the ER, you’ll need to get that experience first because you’re expected to be an “expert” in your field as a traveler.
I see a lot of questions about certain hospitals and people wanting other people’s opinions based on their experience there. A great resource is travelnursingcentral.com. There are rankings of travel companies and hospitals across the country! All are listed alphabetically and you can read about people’s experiences. Take it with a grain of salt though because sometimes people are just unhappy based on personal issues or personality conflicts while on the job. If a consistent complaint by multiple travelers is made about a specific department, chances are it’s a legitimate issue. Again, do with the information what you will, but it can sometimes be insightful. Now onto the good stuff...
Identification: It's normal for your recruiter or compliance officer to ask for your SS card and DL via email. They have to have it for tax purposes and to verify your identity. It is 100% okay to tell them you don't feel comfortable sending that over until you have a contract to sign and you'd prefer to send it via an encrypted email. Some companies have you upload it into a secure site. Depends on the company.
Contract timing: The furthest out you might see a traditional contract is approximately 4 weeks, if that. Things have quickly changed due to COVID, of course, but those crisis contracts being advertised are for immediate/rapid deployment. You have to take them as they post or you miss out and have to wait for the next ones. It's a crisis, meaning they need you now. If you want a traditional contract, yes, the non-crisis companies are still posting those, but you won't find a need any sooner than about a month out from when you want to start.
Housing
Pay Packages:
Bottom line about pay packages: what is your take home weekly pay? Companies will break things down by stipend, taxable rate, non-taxable rate, meals and incidentals. As nice as it is to know the breakdown, what you should be concerned with is what should you expect to be the total dollar amount deposited into your bank account each week? That way, you can do tentative math to know the total take home for the month/length of your contract. You can decide on housing budgeting that way, too. Most companies know what the taxable dollar amount is, but most will not know the actual percentage of taxes you will pay. It can vary from 15% (super low end) to 25% for federal taxes. Always just do your math on the 25% rate for good measure and if it’s less than that, cool! Most companies also offer travel reimbursement between $500-$1000 depending on where the contract is.
If a recruiter tells you you’re making a low weekly rate because you are a first time traveler, find a different company. That isn’t a thing. That just means that the company doesn’t offer higher paying contracts because they’ve low-balled the hospital or accepted the hospital’s lowest offer of pay to the potential traveler. Hospitals have varying pay rates they’re willing to offer and the companies submitting travelers bid on the position(s). Example: hospital A says they need a traveler and are willing to pay between $30,000 - $50,000 for the contract. Company A says they’ll submit a traveler at the $30,000 billable rate in hopes of getting someone placed and collecting an easy commission. Company B may submit a traveler for the $40,000 rate, and Company C will submit a traveler for the $50,000 rate. Big companies like Aya, Travel Nurse Corps, Cross Country will usually bid the lower rate in hopes of placing a nurse. For the most part, bigger companies tend to pay less because they have a big applicant pool and hospitals will have to pay out less by staffing one of their travelers. Don’t sell yourself short is what I’m basically saying with that.
Companies:
There are a lot of companies out there. Let’s start with that statement. This can be overwhelming when trying to get started because you don’t know if the company you’ve chosen is going to work in your best interest or not. There is nothing wrong with recruiters, however, you need to look out for yourself. Think of a recruiter as a car salesman. I don’t mean that in a negative connotation, simply, they work off commission. You do what’s best for you. If a contract won’t work for you, don’t take it. Don’t feel pressured into going somewhere you aren’t comfortable with. The right contract will come along and sometimes you just have to be patient. I didn’t get my first contract until six months after I first inquired. As a new traveler, it was hard to get my foot in the door, so to speak, so I took what I could get and it worked out perfectly. Anyway, here are some good companies that I can confidently recommend from experience:
COVID/Crisis Response Companies:
For rapid deployments, it is best to fill out profiles with these companies listed below ASAP before you start looking for jobs with them. It makes the process quicker and is more likely to land you an offer because you’ve done the paperwork in advance. The best advice I can give you is to follow these companies on FB and IG and turn notifications on. These jobs don’t last and fill up very quickly, so you may miss out if you aren’t quick enough with submitting.
Insurance:
Some companies, like Emerald, provide day one insurance coverage. Others do not, so you'll have to ask about that when you talk with the recruiter. Personally, we carry our own. We are members of Christian Health Ministries. It's a Healthcare sharing network, not insurance. You are considered a self-pay patient. They cover anything over $400. It does take a little bit of effort to fill out the itemized bill paperwork to submit to them, but it isn't bad to do and they pay your bill once you've negotiated for discounts with the hospital for being self-pay. You typically set up a payment plan (can be as low as $25/month, depending on the facility's rules) while CHM is reviewing your paperwork. My dad cut his arm nearly all the way off. His medical bills with the reattachment were almost $400,000. Got his bills reduced to $80,000. Submitted the paperwork with CHM. He set up a payment plan of $100/month and CHM paid off his bill within a few months of him submitting the paperwork. He paid a couple hundred dollars out of pocket on an $80,000 bill. They're amazing and beneficial for travelers as you can use it anywhere. We pay $150/month for unlimited coverage. We've had zero issues with them and it's far more cost effective than traditional insurance. Also, hospitals don't offer the kinds of discounts they do for being self-pay, FYI. So, if you have a $25,000 bill AFTER insurance has paid their part, you're on the hook for it. This isn't the case with CHM. If you're RELATIVELY HEALTHY and don't use a ton of medical services, it's definitely worth looking into. If you take medication, you can look at the goodrx app and see what your medications would cost out-of-pocket and do a cost analysis to determine if CHM and goodrx would be cheaper than monthly insurance offered by your company.
Transportation: Unless you're going somewhere that heavily relies on public transit, like NY or Chicago, you will need your car. Part of the fun of traveling is road tripping to your destination and getting to explore places along the way. If you don't like driving long distances alone, take a buddy and offer to fly them back. That would even be cheaper than shipping your car. Cross-country car shipping starts around $1200 one way. In almost seven years, I've driven across the country east-west and north-south over 14 times. It's been fun each time. You can always rent a car or speak with your recruiter to see if they have a rental car stipend or resources for getting discounts on rentals. Just know rental cars can be expensive over the course of 13 weeks and if you have a car payment to make on top of that, it can really wait into your bottom line.
What to bring to a contract:
This depends on where you’re going and what you think will be beneficial to have. My boyfriend (also a traveler) and I invested in heavy duty totes from lowe's with a big handle and big wheels. We each have two. They fit into the back of our cars perfectly. I tend to designate one tote to clothing, which I vacuum seal to save space and shoes. The other is dedicated to toiletries, meal prep containers, any small kitchen items not available where will be housed, a few cleaning supplies (just Lysol spray and wipes, swifer duster, etc.), google home mini, laptop, etc. My boyfriend uses his totes similarly, except he brings his toys, like the xbox and oculus (haha). Our general rule of thumb is, if it doesn’t fit in the tote, it doesn’t go with. We also pack according to season, so we have our vacuum seal bags with spring/summer clothes and another for fall/winter clothes. You’ll typically end up wearing the same few outfits, so you don’t necessarily need to bring a ton of clothes. Plus, if you want to go shopping, you’ll have room in your tote to bring stuff back on the return trip home. As a first-timer, you’ll likely end up bringing more than you need and then learn from what you use and what you don’t what you can leave out or include on the next contract. We also make our opposite season items easily available to our parents so they can mail them to us, should we choose to extend into another season. I learned this the hard way on one contract and ended up having to basically buy another wardrobe. So, to summarize, if you think you’ll need it or can’t live without it, bring it with you.
Dollar Tree will be your buddy. You can pick up household and kitchen items for cheap. We usually will get things like a hamper if there isn't one, slotted spoons, spatulas, pot holders, etc. if these things aren't provided by the landlord. Then, just leave them for the next guests. That way, you don't have to lug around common items and it helps the next people out.
Making friends and having an enjoyable experience:
You need to have a certain personality to be a successful traveler. You need to assimilate into the environment, be adaptable, and be friendly...aside from being knowledgeable in your specialty. Don’t make waves wherever you go. Think of yourself as a guest at the hospital who is there to help the permanent staff. Be helpful when you can. Don’t get involved in departmental politics. You aren’t there long enough to get caught up in any drama, so stay in your lane, do your job, and go home. Sometimes hospitals are traveler friendly, other times not. Most of my experiences have been positive. Regardless, do your best and be a nice human and you’ll be fine. You can’t control what people think or how they feel toward you, so don’t take anything personally. Just be yourself and you’ll be fine. Try to befriend other travelers. This is the best tip I can offer because y’all are in the same boat. You can work as a team and have instant friends that way because you can relate to one another.
Go explore your new home! Seriously, look up all the cool area-specific things to do/see. Then, when you’ve done all of that look at the surrounding areas/states. You’ll get the most out of your experience by getting out of the house and taking advantage of all there is offered out there. Stay active. I know with COVID a lot has changed, but you can still go for a hike or a short day trip, etc. Just make the most of it!
I hope this has shed some light on the travel world. I am always around to answer questions or be a resource if needed. Feel free to message me privately anytime. Good luck and happy travels!

Q2) Regarding the ERC777 Token Swap, you don’t need to withdraw to VeraWallet on the day of swap? Can I do it later?
Correct, take your time, there is no rush. You can do it at any time. There is no deadline or end date for the swap. We are making this as seamless and easy as possible for everyone.
Seamless and easy. That’s the way forward ✅Q3) Will we see more movements from the Foundation wallet. What is this about? The Swap?
That is correct. In anticipation of the swap company wallets’ tokens are being swapped via VeraWallet. See the article about this:
VRA Token & PoV update
New Foundation wallets will be created to replace the old ones.
Q4) Any plans to keep staking beyond the 31/12/2021 deadline?
We have not made a decision yet but liquidity mining is very much in play and could replace staking after Dec 2021. We will announce mid-year.
Q5) All the tournaments are free to join. How does that help the company to generate revenue? Is there a place or example where users/players are actually using the VRA token to get a product/service?
_Great question!_The tournaments are free to join since we are focusing on adoption and scaling the number of users we have globally. Bringing as many people to the platform is our priority right now. As we expand and offer user-generated prize pools we will take a commission on the total jackpots as a revenue stream. In addition, other revenue flows will become available to us as we build our user base and launch our video player this Q1.
We will monetize our esports content through our video player within Esports Fight Club by serving ads from our ad partners:
Advertiser Partnership Update
Esports Fight Club will require players to use VRA to purchase subscriptions via several payment systems: VeraWallet, PayPal and Credit Cards (although some tournaments are free for promotional purposes). Winners receive VRA for winning tournaments. Soon players will also be rewarded VRA for watching ads. Verasity profits from the purchase of game credits, subscriptions, tournament prize pools and ads. This is an entire ecosystem all within Verasity.
See our revenue forecast here:
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
Adoption and scale are key to the success of Esports Fight Club. We’ve made a lot of progress on the platform and are confident we will continue to see further growth in terms of users and a ton more exposure to the platform, and our token $VRA.Talking about adoption and scale… the next question will answer that!~Q6) What is the current Marketing Strategy? How do we differ from other tournament websites?
After creating mass-scale events around the world, we are focusing on adoption and community this year. Spending $10,000 on a big one-time prize pool to attract 1000 teams sounds good in theory. But, after careful planning, forecasting and testing, the results show that the best way is to spread the tournaments out so we reach a larger number of audiences. This consistency and large reach will attract much more than just 1000 teams over a period of time. The best place to do this is by sponsoring streamers and influencers, who each have thousands or even hundreds of thousands of fans.
For the past week, for example, we’ve been running a Valorant Community Tournament with Esports Fight Club’s first partnered streamer, Mika Daime. The turnout has been massive! Qualifier 1 was filled up with the max slots so quickly, that we had to create a Qualifier 2 just to fit all the teams in.
  1. Most streamers we aim to partner with can easily bring in 64 or 256 teams to a community tournament hosted by Esports Fight Club, for a fraction of the price
  2. With the same budget as a big tournament, of the $10,000 we would have spent on a single tournament, we can obtain approximately 540% more users by repurposing that budget for the influencer and streamer tournaments.
For a full list of upcoming features such as the Marketplace and VoD section read our full Marketing and Adoption post:
Marketing, Adoption, Tournaments 2021 (Updated)
It’s key for people to understand what we aim to do with the tournaments in terms of marketing. We read a lot of comments about the “low prize pool” when we announced the Mika Daime tournament, hopefully the answer Mark provided sheds light on that!Everything we do at Verasity is calculated. 😊Do check this out if you wanted a full read on our Marketing and Adoption post for 2021. 👍🏼If you think you’re good at some of the games we have available on Esports Fight Club, join in! The partnered streamers we have will be hosting a lot of community tournaments, such as Mika Daime!Q7) How often shall the revenue estimates (status update) be updated and is there any new estimation?
We will update the community every six months on revenue forecasts. There are no updates from our last announcement which can be found here
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter with notifications turned on, so you can get all the updates as they come through!https://twitter.com/verasitytech
Q8) Have you changed your business model? Because at the beginning it was mainly about publishers.
Our fundamental model has not changed: Video publishers attract audiences to watch video content and ads. Users are rewarded for it, thereby increasing engagement and monetization.
This model has not changed. What has changed is the type of video publisher we are pursuing. Prior to COVID-19, we pursued traditional publishers. With COVID-19, we saw the opportunity to pursue gaming publishers and more specifically esports publishers. More importantly, we created our own tournament platform: esportsfightclub.com. This allows us to control our own environment, launch our own proprietary video player, own our video content, run ads on our player, and charge subscription fees as well as take tournament fees.
But actually publishers and content are publishers and content whether it’s gaming or news.
It’s great to see how Esports Fight Club will have it’s own video content up on the website so that users will be able to watch the content to earn $VRA by using our own video technology, then use the $VRA to join tournaments, or buy hardware from trusted partners 👀Exciting stuff!Q9) Where can I find info about the Founders token unlock schedule?
Tokenomics and Founders token unlock schedule can be found here:
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
Q10) Does VeraWallet speed handling withdraws scale up painlessly when user amounts boom? And shall there be enhancements to user experience if we for example have tens or hundreds of small reward withdraws daily?
We are adding automated withdrawals for small amounts to the roadmap but first have to complete the swap and add the security protocols. We won’t risk our users’ investments.
We simply don't want to risk our secure environment.
Q11) Are there any plans for compounding rewards for the VeraWallet staking?
No, absolutely not. The simple interest we are paying now is already high.
Q12) Bit confused about the VeraWallet staking rate after March. Can you clarify?
The staking reward rate is 0.1% per day (36.5% per annum) until 31 March 2021 when it becomes 0.07% daily (25.55% pa) until 31 December 2021.
Q13) When can I instant stake with BTC?
Good news, BTC is already available in VeraWallet for Instant Stake together with ETH, BNB and USDT.
Try Instant Buy and Stake out for yourself here:
VeraWallet - Official VRA Wallet
Instant Buy and Stake has been a really popular update to VeraWallet. Great to see the community loving it. 👍🏼Q14) With the recent developments on Cardano, and the ease in which ERC-20 tokens can migrate to this superior to Ehereum platform, are you considering following suit of great projects like Celsius to move VRA over to Cardano? I know we are still a bit hurt with Binance VRAB. I understand it is not an easy decision. Just interested in what you think about the future on Ethereum.
We gave this a lot of thought and investigation and as the community knows we have experience with token migrations :)
Please see our latest update on the VRA token swap to ERC777 and Proof of View:
VRA Token & PoV update
As to Cardano — the liquidity is really small compared to ETH alts. For example on Kucoin it’s volume is less than $2m per day. Even on OKEX it’s only $3m. 50% of Celsius’ volume is on Uniswap which is the majority of the liquidity and is not on any Tier 1 exchanges. Aside from the lack of features that we need for PoV, after our last experience, we are very reluctant to join with mainnets that are generally illiquid. Celsius’s solution is to provide the liquidity themselves through Uniswap which is limiting in our view. We believe sticking with Ethereum is the right way to go and the market seems to agree with this as well.
Q15) The new VOD platform, when is it going to be finished and in use?
We are working on it now and expect it to meet the roadmap target of Q1: see verasity.io for the roadmap.
Can’t wait for it to be released! 🚀> Yes, this is a huge milestone for us and opens us up to so many possibilities.Q16) Is liquidity mining still in play? Will this replace the staking rewards after December 2021?
Good question. Yes, liquidity mining is very much in play and could replace staking after Dec 2021. We have not made that decision yet but will announce as soon as we do.
Q17) Are there new partners/publishers in the trend of gaming for the ad stack?
Yes, FB, Google and others. Please see:
Advertiser Partnership Update
In total 17, many specializing in gaming.
I don’t think today there are many ad networks that are not into gaming. It's such a huge audience sitting at home during Covid.
Q18) Micro tournaments: could you arrange tournaments yourself, like a national tournament for example?
The Esports Fight Club platform is fully self-managed, so yes, you could set up large tournaments and be the admin and sponsor. We would definitely like to see this happen by our community members. This quarter, our admins and developers are focused on A/B testing different tournaments with multiple communities to see if we are missing any critical features demanded by gamers. An article will be coming next week about micro and partnered tournaments. We will explain how these increase platform adoption which benefits both influencers and Esports Fight Club.
If anyone does host some tournaments, message me! I’d be happy to join a few… dust off my skills. I heard Rob (Our Finance Director) was a bit of Counterstrike wizard in his day… 😂Q19) Why are the tokens bought via the instant buy taken from a pool which dilutes the total supply? This is like raising new capital for $VRA at every buy instead of us token holders getting a price increase.
These are not purchased from a pool. If you mean that Foundation tokens have been transferred to VeraWallet, see the article:
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
In the Total VRA Supply, line 9, this VRA is already taken into account as part of both total supply and circulating supply. It does not increase either. I think this is really clear.
Q20) Asking about the “Instant buy and stake feature”. If someone buys $VRA using this system, there is no transaction on the blockchain. You say you buy directly on exchanges but no proof.
Buy backs of VRA do not happen instantly and we don’t announce buy backs in advance to avoid speculation. We don’t share our VeraWallet addresses as we have stated before. We are not going to provide speculators with tools to make a margin on each purchase.
Q21) Do we stay on the Ethereum network?
Yes, see the article:
VRA Token & PoV update
We are swapping our current ERC20 tokens to ERC777 which is essentially an upgrade to a more modern and fuller feature set Ethereum token.
For anyone just joining the chat, make sure you read the article above! Tons of important and exciting information.Q22) From the Foundation wallet tokens have been unlocked in the last 50 days and added to the circulating supply. How is our token deflationary?
If you mean that Foundation tokens have been transferred to VeraWallet, see the article:
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
Foundation tokens are not locked and the article clearly states they are unlocked. In the Total VRA Supply, line 9, this VRA is already taken into account as part of both total supply and circulating supply. It does not increase either. We specifically provide for ALL Foundation tokens, allocated and unallocated, as part of the current circulating supply so this is NOT adding to the circulating supply.
Q23) Asking about adoption figures. You claim to have had 8M people looking at your gaming videos (mostly fakes views as the counter earned millions in hours).
The adoption figures were not fake or exaggerated, it is important to understand that this number is a combination of different metrics, all of which ensure one thing: People viewed our live tournament page. This number includes:
Although it was difficult to collate all the viewer statistics we believe them to be accurate and fair.
To see the full statistics of Ultimate Warrior Showdown 1, read here:
Ultimate Warrior Showdown Tournament Round-Up and Adoption
Hope that clears up some FUD! 👍🏼Q24) Asking about partnerships. You say you have partnerships with
Stripe, Tencent Games, PayPal. The truth is any website can integrate these payment/connexion modules without partnership. You just need to read their website and implement it on your website.
Of course, you can add Stripe and PayPal to any website, but try adding them to a crypto-based website and see how far you get. There are no crypto products websites or related services (other than specific financial services) that are supported by Stripe and PayPal because they are not allowed. To obtain these payment services, you need to have special permission and follow a rigid protocol. And Stripe expressed interest in working with Esports Fight Club to reach out to video publishers with EFC to give us access to video publishers worldwide.
As to TencentGames, you need to get their specific permission for certain tournament events and follow their rules. We would be unable to use their logo and name in our marketing material without this. It’s not simply signing up for them. So yes we consider this a partnership because they plan on additional events with us which they now support.
Working with major brands including PUBGM, Tencent, Athena Gaming and Warmania gave us the clout to include major esport teams in our tournaments who will participate in future tournaments as well: FaZe Clan, Orange, T1, Elementrix, Nova, Onic and others. And now because of the history, Blizzard is prepared to provide licenses for all their major games.
We are also in discussion with peripheral manufacturers to support our marketplace launch later this year. As soon as agreements are reached, we will jointly announce sponsored product peripherals that will be rewarded in our tournaments.
Q25) Some things on your roadmap get pushed forward. Why did do you do this?
Our development team has been together doing projects for over ten years. This is normal in large scale development projects. For example, we decided after the large Esports Fight Club tournaments we put on that we needed to finalize and launch the Video sharing platform prior to some other features on the roadmap because without it we would not be able to take advantage of many opportunities including monetization opportunities of the exclusive VOD content that only we could re-publish and add ads to. This pushed certain product features into Q2. Another example is PoV. Initially we thought we would go with proprietary blockchain because there was no other solution that would allow us to support PoV. That changed with the release by Ethereum of ERC777. As a result PoV timeline targets changed so that it corresponds to the release of ERC777 as well as the ability to use it for the Video sharing platform. So in effect, the video-sharing platform came in _much earlier than expected_which pushed out other features/products to accommodate this change. Business decisions and external events impact on the roadmap and it would do Verasity and the community an injustice if we just blindly followed a roadmap that becomes slightly outdated every quarter and greatly outdated every year. It is this flexibility that allows Verasity to take advantage of new information and technologies in real-time. And to push out new products earlier in the roadmap such as the video-sharing platform.
Q26) Proof-of-View™️ so nice!
When will it be a Patented POV?
The average time for a patent to be granted is 3 years. We’ve just started our third year as a pending application so we hope it will be in 2021, however our patent lawyers have told us to expect further delays due to covid. Fortunately this won’t stop the release of Proof of View which can go ahead with ‘patent pending’ protection.
Update: The patent was granted a few minutes after the AMA ended!
@verasitytech
Q27) Will there be an app for download on your phone soon? For Staking. Feeling a little insecure have it online on your website
Actually, our mweb and web applications are much more secure than a mobile app. Mobile apps are much easier to hack. Although we have not been hacked, some users have been hacked via their mobile phones but because we have a manual delay, we were able to stop the loss of tokens. The good news is that now with the swap to ERC777 we can disable any wallets that have stolen VRA and return the VRA to the original user. We do have mobile apps on the roadmap but won’t likely support staking because of the security issue and it is not a priority for us.
Q28) Not try to fud here, but would like to get an answer in AMA to suppress all fud in the future 😁
Financial status company. There have been coins sold for listing on an exchange (still to come?). Was this something that was not planned (like extra opportunity to get listed) or are funds becoming empty?
Current resources held by Verasity fund the project roadmap for the next 12 months. We forecast reaching profitability in 2021 which will finance the continuing runway thereafter. As you point out not all listing opportunities were included in the forecast and we stated that: “In the future, additional listings and expenses may require sales of VRA from the Foundation Reserve”. See the funding update here:
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
Q29) The VoD update is a little bit unclear for me. Maybe you can tell some more about it. To the looks of it, it is a mix between YouTube and twitch but with PoV to earn $VRA.
PoV on VODs is a key feature for us and for our large ad-stack network. While we are growing our partnerships with community tournaments and adding more games and influencers on EsportsFightClub: we want our reruns to be monetized, available at all times on our proprietary platform and browsing page. Think of it the way Twitch highlights previous streamer’s lives automatically but on a larger and customizable library for viewers to earn VRA and for Verasity to monetize via its ad stack.
And we own several terabytes of gaming and esports video content which will launch with the new video platform in Q1. This is actually massive, because on launch we will have a ton of video content to monetize!
Q30) You seem to have many products but I don’t understand how they work together?
Q31) What games does Esports Fight Club support now?
PUBG mobile, Free Fire, Counter-Strike GO, Valorant, PUBG and Ludo is about to be launched.
🚀🚀🚀 Great game selection, so far.Q32) Any near-future plans to expand your marketing?
At Verasity, we have a large marketing team that devotes itself behind the scenes to increase our awareness in the cryptocurrency community and reach as many people as possible.
Although we have community groups in more than 10 languages, our local group managers translate all the news, updates into their own languages and publish them in local forums and groups in real time. Thus, we significantly increase our chances of reaching communities that do not speak English. Verasity Spanish, Verasity Korea & Verasity India are already large groups and growing.
We will continue to use media sites, influencers, and all other advertising sources to spread our news in the future as in the past. Gamification marketing opportunities are very important to us as can be seen in LunarCrush.
In return for these efforts, we have gained a great community support that grew slowly but surely. Our marketing efforts will continue to scale. Our goal in this regard is to continue without stopping until every individual in the cryptocurrency community speaks about Verasity.
Our social media metrics have seen a consistent and phenomenal increase over the past year due to our marketing efforts, read here to find out more in detail:
Verasity Social and Adoption Metrics
For us the most important metrics to see how we are doing in socials is LunarCrush:
VRA - VERAsity Insights | LunarCRUSH
LunarCrush Altrank is the best stats measure of Alts social marketing success out of 2100 popular Alts. We tested many marketing ploys to rank highly. When something works, it’s clear in LunarCrush. Competitions like AltWars simply work. This is the meaning of crypto exposure when the Altrank increases in LunarCrush which measures all social volume, % change per 24 hours, and social score. Even with our volume which only ranks 550 out of 2100 Alts, our Social Volume pushes us in front of much bigger tokens such as OMG, DOT, LINK, CHSB and others. Clearly our marketing is working.
The community support has been phenomenal. It’s been great to see how supportive the Verasians have been. We wouldn’t be anywhere without you guys! So thank you from the team.Especially during the AltWars contest recently… we owned! 👍🏼 Power of the Verasians. 🤝Q33)Have you heard about gaming projects Exeedme and Crowns and how can you compare them to Verasity?
We did! Exeedme is an exciting project revolving around gamers personal skill and players betting against themselves (user-centric) that is just at its very inception. They are not competitors as our model (Community, content and tournament centered) has broader purpose and we dont and wont support betting because it will be rejected by many of our partners.
Crowns Token, from Seascape, is a DeFi economy blockchain made for developers building their own online games but who cannot/don’t want to focus on the technical transactional side. Although they are very promising for simple browser and other types of games, they are just not targeting the Esports market and offer, at best, support for upcoming indie-browser games studios.
We would not be able to partner with Exeedme because of betting restrictions but Crowns could be interesting if the games developed are popular with our viewers.
Q34) Are there any plans in the near future (next several months) to list on an exchange that allows full KYC trading for US citizens (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance US, etc.)?
This is hard for us. The regulatory environment in the US is not friendly. Since we are not regulated in the US, the risk of listing on a US exchange and the SEC bringing a claim is quite high. At this time we are avoiding this. Lets see what happens with the new SEC Chair who is quite familiar with blockchain. Should he articulate straight forward rules that can be followed and which will not be changed every couple of months, we will consider it then.
Q35) What is:
1. Business structure
2. Marketing plan for next year
3. Customer acquisition costs
4. Execution plan on tech side to deliver
Business structure of Verasity:
Development team structure is flat with these functions:
Blockchain developers, Backend developers, highload & security developers, Full stack Developers, web/mobile frontend developers, mobile only devs, Testing & QA, Finance.
For more about the Verasity business model and forecast see:
Tokenomics , Forecast, News Update
Marketing plan for next year can be found here:
Marketing, Adoption, Tournaments 2021 (Updated)
Customer acquisition costs
We will provide CAC when we are profitable.
Execution plan
See the roadmap on verasity.io
And finally. the last question on the list…🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁Q36) Do you have an update on exchanges? The one that was hinted end of last year and more to come?
Very important issue for us and the community. We fully appreciate the necessity for additional volume and liquidity. After the last exchange hack and issues with OKEX, we were thrown off balance but had expected to list on a new exchange by now. Mistakenly we announced prematurely and then ran into the necessity of completing the VRA token swap before we list on a new exchange. Obviously, we want to now avoid having to swap tokens on a new exchange. So right after the majority of the current exchanges we are listed on complete the swap (this month), we will continue with our listing plans. We are well on the way with 2 exchanges but don’t think it’s prudent to provide more information until they announce the listing themselves. The expectation is still for at least one exchange in Q1. Please bear with us on this. We will get there.
Been a great AMA so far. Cleared up a lot of questions and hopefully made you all as excited for the future as we are. Tons of great new updates to Esports Fight Club coming this year and a prosperous year for Verasity is definitely ahead.Thank you Mark! Will be now opening the chat for the Verasians to ask some additional questions. Will be closing the chat shortly after and we can get some more answers out. The gates are opening! 😁
Additional questions
Q37) When the Verasity Game Jackpot price will be held again? We are waiting for so long.
New jackpots are coming onto the platform but for upcoming games like Ludo which will be announced later this month.
Q38) Is it possible to create something like a create your own tournament where I can play a 1vs1(or 2v2 5vs5) against another player(s) in any game anytime (like in 30 minutes) and where I can set for example a winning price of 100k VRA. and both players have to send 50k before the game to a smart contract and afterward it automatically gets sent to the winner?
Esports Fight Club allows users to create their own tournaments choosing from the available games list. We are constantly working on expanding the list of available games and are open for suggestions. The players deposit VRA to the Esports Fight Club account and use these funds to send money to the prize pool. It's quite simple to set up and you can do it for any amount and any number of players and as admin, you have complete control of the size of the pot, how it is shared in % for winners when to start, etc. Its a fully self managed platform that works now. Just go in and set it up today!
Q39) Hi Mark, regarding the plans for in-game advertising and in-game rewards this year, could you describe your vision on this? Is Verasity currently discussing this topic with certain game companies, and how exactly would it work in practice once achieved? Any details you can share with us would be highly appreciated!
The way we view in-game ads is our ability to provide our logo or some other image that would be part of the game interface, such as the floor or walls. This already exists and is popular. We are in discussions now with game developers to add Verasity/VRA. This is a high powered marketing tool that will get our name into many gamers’ faces. These are native images in effect. For advertisers that want to use native images inside our broadcasts or VOD, they get stitched into the ad server in parallel to the stream and we get paid for the ad inventory. In-game rewards are still in development but the vision is for users to be able to click on an object in the game and get rewarded for doing so, not dissimilar to clicking on an add and getting a higher CPM.

This means that players who like to play high stakes can take advantage of this feature as well.
To take full advantage of this fantastic offer, it is important to remember that you need to make sure you have a computer with enough processing power to handle the graphics on the Ethroll website. Although you can use your broadband internet connection to play at the casino, you may not be able to use the best graphics. This is a problem that affects many people, and it is one of the reasons that this casino offers a free option.
There are numerous games available at the Ethroll Casino, so players do not have to spend a lot of time choosing the ones they want to play. The games include slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, and even video poker. The graphics are very smooth and attractive, so it is easy for players to make use of their PC to win. Since most of the slots are Progressive slot games, it is possible to place a number of bets after pulling the handle. The same is true for the baccarat tables, where players can choose between multiple denominations.
To play at the casino, all you need to have is a valid email address. You will also need a valid credit card, or PayPal account. This is because of a few problems that may occur if you don't have either one of these. Most of the problems that may occur at the casino are due to your credit card or PayPal not being valid, so make sure that you have these things before entering any online game. Once you have successfully made a payment through your email account or PayPal, you will be able to access the Ethroll Casino, where you can start enjoying the games, including the popular roulette game.

How to find perfect casino for you?

An online casino is a place where gamblers of various skill levels can find games to play, whether for fun or for profit. So it is important to make sure that your chosen casino has been recommended by an experienced gaming expert and has been duly checked and approved by a third party agency. There are many different types of online casinos to choose from including classic games like poker, slots, blackjack, bingo and roulette etc. Most sites will offer a range of different games to suit your requirements.
An online casino is recommended and reviewed based on its fairness to players. The online casinos which have gained players' favour are the ones that offer a good variety of games and also have reasonable bonuses and perks for new players. The best casinos are those that have been recommended by experienced players and are part of reputable gaming associations. The online casinos which are reviewed by experts are those that provide genuine deals and great value for money to players.
The legal age of gambling is also an important factor in online casino recommendation and review. If the casino is based in the US, the age of legal consent for gambling is 18 years. For all other countries, the legal age for playing the game is generally younger. You should therefore choose an online casino recommended and reviewed by a gambling authority or other respectable body. Not only should the casino be licensed by the government but should be registered with the government as well.
A top casino in the online casino USA market is Pacific Poker because of its reliability, security, fairness and long-term benefits. Many online casinos offering slots are not highly recommended by players because they are known to eliminate player winnings in small amounts. If you are a serious player, then you should go for a casino that offers multiple payment options such as credit cards, PayPal accounts etc. You should ask your friends, family members and colleagues about the online casinos offering multiple payment options so that you can avoid losses in case you miss out on a single payment or if you lose the amount you have put up.
Another important factor that you should consider while looking for an online casino recommended by players is the kind of management and support provided to the players. When you are playing online casino gambling, you should not get attached to any particular website. Instead, you should select a website that provides the maximum number of payment options and gives you maximum freedom to withdraw your winnings. Casino gaming regulations and laws vary from state to state. Hence, it is better that you check with your state's Gaming Commission or Department of Revenue if the particular casino meets their requirements.
There are certain things that you can expect from a casino in terms of support and customer care. For example, you should find out whether the casino allows betting on more than one game at a time. You should also find out whether the casino offers any special deals and promotions like weekend promotions and loyalty incentives to its customers. If you have other questions related to online casino gambling, it would be advisable to discuss them with your friends and relatives who are regular gamblers. In fact, you might even hear about online casino recommended by players who have lost money in the past.

Queen Bee Bingo Review

Queen Bee Bingo is a very yellow and black kind of place, as you’d expect of a site with such a name, save for the coloured bingo balls liberally dotted about the homepage. Its mascot, a queen bee with a honeycomb tiara, a honey wand dripping with the golden stuff and a full cleavage, looks ecstatic with delight, presumably because she’s just won another jackpot at her eponymous site. There are £70 of bingo tickets and 10 free spins for you to collect after signing up and making your first deposit at this shiny new site which launched in 2017.
The bee theme is one that’s maintained throughout, with plenty of puns based around sweet nectar and bee’s knees bingo. What’s the deal with the bee’s knees anyway and why are they so coveted? Whatever the origins of this saying, the 75 and 90-ball bingo games available here are the bee’s knees apparently. Queen Bee Bingo is a mobile-friendly site so all of its games should work on touchscreen devices as well as on desktop, and not just the bingo either – the same applies to the slots. The latest winners at the site are displayed in a scrolling ticker on the homepage, and there are some major sums cited there. Whether these jackpots were won playing slots or bingo is unclear, but regardless, their inclusion provides a degree of social proof.

About Queen Bee Bingo Casino

Queen Bee Bingo is operated by Cassava Enterprises, a company with a wealth of experience within the online gaming sector. The number of sites they operate is huge and probably numbers into the thousands. Bingo is their forte, but they also do stand alone casinos. Unfortunately, Cassava Enterprises tend to focus on quantity over quality and as a result the majority of their sites are riddled with the same faults time and time again. Most of these oversights don’t blight the playing experience, but they certainly don’t enhance it or help the various sites to stand out from one another.
Cassava Enterprises hold a gaming license that originates in Gibraltar, where they’re headquartered. They also hold a license issued by the Great Britain Gambling Commission to 888 UK Ltd, who are part of the 888 group, who are the owners of Cassava Enterprises. Within the EU, it’s Virtual Digital Services Limited who hold the required license that allows the site to market its games at EU-based players. For the most part though, these sites are designed for a British audience – a female British audience to be precise, for it’s reasonable to assume that a site named Queen Bee Bingo won’t be attracting too many blokes. If you require customer support, you can get hold of a team member by email, by instant chat or by calling a freephone UK number which is in operation from 9am to 1am.

Queen Bee Banking

There’s not a huge amount of deposit options available at Queen Bee Bingo, but there ought to be enough here to satisfy the sort of demographic this site is targeted at. Take your pick from Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Entropay, PayPal payments system and Paysafecard. In theory you can find out further information regarding deposits and withdrawals in the FAQ but in practice there’s very little of help here to go on. For example, the FAQ states that “We accepts [sic] most payment methods”, which they don’t. It’s also an indication of just how generic and lazy these Cassava Enterprises sites are that they copy everything verbatim from their other sites, right down to the same typos.
Trying to find out withdrawal options is even tougher, for Queen Bee Bingo expects players to jump through hoops just to ascertain the basics. It’s a mystery why all this can’t simply be placed in one easily retrievable place in the FAQ. Instead you have to scroll through the T&Cs, and ain’t nobody got time for that. On the plus side, the FAQ does reveal that the minimum deposit amount is £5 and that it can take up to eight working days for credit or debit card withdrawals to clear into your account. This is slower than some British bingo sites, but still quicker than Jumpman Gaming, who deserve an award for being the slowest clearing gaming operator on the web.

Bee Lucky Bonuses

On the face of it, a welcome offer of £70 of bingo tickets and 10 free spins sounds pretty good. When you start to scrutinise it however, Queen Bee Bingo’s welcome offer starts to look like one of the worst introductory offers on the web, matched only by all the other Cassava Enterprises sites churning out the same shoddy deal.
The primary reason why the offer sucks is that winnings from the 10 free spins you’re awarded are capped at £1 so even if you strike it lucky on those spins, you’ll only be allowed to keep a fraction of your potential winnings which defeats the point. Of course an operator is going to cap your maximum win, but surely this could be set at a more acceptable level such as £50 or £100?
Because Queen Bee Bingo utilises a single-page design, there isn’t a dedicated promotions page where you can learn vast amounts of information about other deals that are in place. There’s a paragraph of text that makes mention of them in passing however, including free bingo rooms, where you can likely win £1 at best, and a rewards programme which has 15 tiers. As you ascend through its levels, you’ll earn free spins, free bingo tickets and other perks. There may be some breath-taking offers available at Queen Bee Bingo that are only revealed once you’ve signed up, but don’t hold your breath.
>> Get No Deposit Bonus Now <<

Popular Bingo Variants

In typical Cassava Enterprises fashion, your bingo comes down to two choices: 75-ball or 90-ball. These games are by far the most popular variants to be found in the UK so it makes sense that they’re offered here. Tickets are cheap, or at least as cheap as bingo tickets at most other British bingo sites, and you can purchase multiple tickets for a single game if you like.
In terms of slots, it’s the same old games that are available at thousands of other sites by this operator so there’s nothing new here. On the plus side, these include some great NetEnt games such as Fairytale Legends: Hansel & Gretel plus Fiddle Dee Dough and Irish Eyes, which is a slot all about an Irish woman who has eyes that are, you know...Irish.

Queen Bee Bngo Conclusion

Queen Bee Bingo is a functional but unexceptional site for playing bingo and slots. It’s bedeviled by the usual flaws that crop up at all Cassava Enterprises sites. There are some good games here, that’s true, but nothing novel, original or unique. You could have a good time if you signed up here and put its games to the test, but then the same could be said of all this operator’s other sites. Queen Bee Bingo gets the job done then, whether you’re playing on mobile or desktop, but it’s nothing to write home about.
